Parents and families are invited to join us for an Open House or schedule a school tour and meet the teachers.
We offer the following introductory events:
Open houses illuminate the City Garden School philosophy, our academic offerings, and our dedication to creating a lifelong love of learning. During the open house, you will have an opportunity to visit the classrooms, view students’ work samples, and meet teachers and parents.
Come and learn more about what the whole CGS Curriculum has to offer, why certain topics are taught at different grade levels, and how City Garden meets the needs of every child.

Group Tours/Open Houses-
Come see what a typical day at City Garden is like! We will visit each classroom, meet teachers, and get a feel for our overall program!
Journey Through the Garden-
Journey Through the Garden is a unique opportunity to see City Garden School’s classes in action! We invite you to join us on a journey through three different grades to experience the magic of a Waldorf-inspired Main Lesson with time at the end to have all of your questions answered.
Classroom Observation/Private Tours
We encourage prospective families to schedule a private tour of our classrooms and campus while school is in session. Parents will experience the intentionality that sets CGS education apart and how the curriculum meets the child’s curiosity, creativity, and need for movement with learning. You will observe inspired learning at work and how it builds self-esteem, character, empathy, and leadership. You will have an opportunity to meet the teacher.
